IAMAS

Established in 2021, IAMAS unites a global community of surgeons and gynecologists dedicated to advancing Minimal Access Surgery. Representing over 100 professionals worldwide, IAMAS is committed to bringing minimal access surgery, endoscopy, and emerging techniques to patients across the globe.
While many organizations operate within their respective countries, IAMAS stands out as a truly international platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise among medical professionals involved in minimal access surgery.
IAMAS has grown into a dynamic organization playing a pivotal role in the evolution of Minimal Access Surgery and allied interventional techniques. It welcomes laparoscopic surgeons, gynecologists, urologists, pediatric surgeons, and other specialists practicing minimal access surgery.
As a globally recognized body, IAMAS organizes annual international congresses, fosters research and development, and provides training and education.

Types of Membership

Member

A member who has been admitted as a member at the time of registration of the Society and has paid the requisite membership fee to the society. The number of members shall not exceed SEVEN. The members shall also be deemed to have become Life Members of the society and shall have the privilege of being members of the collegiums without elections.

Member

Life Member

A person may be admitted as a life member on payment of the prescribed fees, and upon becoming a member, they shall continue to enjoy the privileges and benefits of being a part of our esteemed society throughout their lifetime. As a life member, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in our initiatives, contribute to the growth of the field, and forge life long connections with fellow professionals who share a passion for Minimal Access Surgery. 

Life Member

A person may be admitted as a life member on payment of the prescribed fees, and upon becoming a member, they shall continue to enjoy the privileges and benefits of being a part of our esteemed society throughout their lifetime. As a life member, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in our initiatives, contribute to the growth of the field, and forge life long connections with fellow professionals who share a passion for Minimal Access Surgery. 

Honorary Member

The Governing Body may admit individuals of distinguished talent and merit or whose association is deemed to be beneficial to the Society or who has rendered services of outstanding merit to the Society or who is a distinguished citizen of India or any other country as Honorary Member of the Society, after obtaining consent of the individual, without payment of any membership or subscription fees. The members shall be entitled to attend the meeting and contribute to the deliberations but shall have no right to vote.
